Plagiarism

With the growing use of ICT and Internet and the globalization in information and students, the university is confronted with incidences of plagiarism.

During some of these incidences we found out that it is not always clear for all students what plagiarism is and how scholars should use sources of information in their writing. To assist students in this, and to fill the gap existing at our university, we have developed a statement of plagiarism.

This statement clearly indicates what plagiarism is, how one should use sources of information in thesis research and course papers, and what the policy of the environmental policy group (and WU) is in cases of plagiarism.

Examiners and supervisors may utilize plagiarism scanners to check any text presented to them by students.
